About Ultipeg
Originally invented in 2021 by Mr Colin Ireland, a precision engineer from Cambridgeshire, the Ultipeg system uses specialised pegs and unique tool to drive your pegs in straight and allow easy extraction via a simple twist and pull action… all from a standing or seated position.
The Ultipeg family of parts has now grown to offer unique UK registered designs to continually make camping life easier and more enjoyable for all.
All of our products are handmade from high grade stainless steel..WITHOUT PLASTIC at our factory in Cambridgeshire, we are very proud to be a WORLD FIRST and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN!

What is Ultipeg?
Ultipeg is a unique groundpeg system to enable groundpegs to be hammered in and removed from a standing or seated position, with the added bonus that because the pegs are always hit straight, they resist bending even in the hardest ground conditions.
Who is it for?
Ultipeg is for everybody! and especially useful for those with back or knee problems.
Where can Ultipeg be used?
Ultipeg has been designed to penetrate hardstanding pitches, but will hold fast on grass and almost any ground
Can I use Ultipegs without the Ultipeg Tool?
We do not recommend using Ultipegs without the Ultipeg Tool. They are designed to be used together to prevent the Ultipegs from bending and damage.
What hammer or mallet should I use?
Ideally, a heavy dead blow mallet should be used. Do not use a regular claw hammer and definitely not a rubber mallet as it will bounce off!

How do I use them?
- Insert the Ultipeg into the Ultipeg Tool
- Position your Ultipeg where you want it to be
- Hammer the Ultipeg Tool with a heavy dead blow mallet (Do not use a claw hammer!)
- To remove the Ultipeg from the ground, drop the Ultipeg Tool back on the Ultipeg
- Remove the Ultipeg by twisting and pulling the Ultipeg Tool
